Turmeric Healing Bath
NATURAL REMEDIES

Turmeric Healing Bath

Turmeric is more commonly known for its use in Indian and Pakistani curries. The spice also has many healing properties as well which include anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

Curcumin has powerful biological properties and it is the active ingredient in turmeric. Ayurvedic medicine, which is a traditional Indian system of treatment, is recommending the usage of this spice for a variety of health conditions.

This is where the healing bath comes in place!

If you’ve had a long day and your muscles and joints are achy, you can indulge yourself in a quick homemade bath that will help soothe your aching joints.

This spice helps to unclog pores and remove scars and pigmentation if you’re suffering from acne.

Turmeric Healing Bath

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of turmeric powder. You can buy this if you don’t have any: Marshalls Creek Spices Turmeric Powder warm bath.

Directions:
Add the powder to a warm bath and soak in it for about 15 minutes.

The turmeric will stain your clothes so remember to keep everything away from it. That being said, it will also turn your bathtub a yellowish hue, but bleach or any other cleaning agents will take care of that.

Your skin will stain but not noticeably and the stain does wash away.

Remember to relax and take some time out for yourself for your home treatments. Try lighting some candles (safely) and turn on some relaxing music. Healing is done as much through the mind as through the body.
