Try it: Mix together a quarter-cup pure aloe vera juice or gel, a half-cup salt, a quarter-cup oil (based on your preferences), one tablespoon dried lavender flowers, and 10 drops essential oil of lavender. A thick paste is forming in the resulting mixture; add a few extra drops of oil, if it’s too dry. Gently scrubbing your skin in a circular motion, apply in the shower with the palms of your hands or a washcloth, or loofah.
5. Relaxing Salt Bath
Cleanses your skin’s pores deeply, absorbing grime, dirt, and toxins is another benefit of using salt. The protective barrier in the skin is restored due to salt’s mineral content and helps it hold hydration.
